HK POWER CLUB Volunteer Service
In Hong Kong, activities such as visits to elderly people living alone, provision of basic supplies to the community, and small-scale community care initiatives continue to be carried out. Many caring citizens are eager to participate in public welfare projects independently. Now, a personal volunteer registration channel has been opened, allowing individuals to engage in service work without the need for companionship.
The individual volunteer is responsible for the work.
Event site: Venue setup, reception, maintaining order, distribution of supplies
Home visit: Accompany the elderly for the visit, listen to their stories, offer companionship and present consolation supplies
Logistical support: Inventory of supplies, simple documentation, and recording of event photography
Personal registration eligibility
Those who are 16 years old or older can independently sign up to participate in all activities.
For teenagers aged 6 to 15, a parent's signed consent form is required. The association can also arrange for them to travel with adult volunteer companions.
Patient, friendly towards others, and willing to follow the activity guidelines
Whether you are a student, an office worker, or a retiree, those with no volunteer experience are all welcome. A brief explanation will be provided before the event.
Personal Volunteer Benefits
Each time after completing the service, record the hours and apply for a formal volunteer service certificate.

Even if you participate voluntarily alone, volunteer teams will be arranged for pairing. There is no need to worry about being alone with strangers.
